What we've been up to this year ...
It's been a fairly busy year since 1st July 2024. Here are just a few of the things we've been up to:
Every year we hold a Christmas Coffee and Crafts event in Callander Kirk Hall to bring Christmas cheer to the folk of Callander and to raise funds for our Charity Account. This year we raised over £1,270 and much of that has already been distributed to causes such as StartUp Stirling. Click here to view some photos from the event
For nearly ten years we have held a Primary School Quiz for which all of the primary schools in our catchment area enter teams of four Primary 7 children. The winners go to a Regional Final later in the year, and, if lucky enough to win that, on to the National Final. This year's winner of our heat was Aberfoyle Primary School. Always a reliable fundraiser, we hold two bottle stalls per year - one during the Jazz Festival weekend in September/October and the other in Easter. usually, it's not just about a bottle tombola, but often we have a bric-a-brac stall and a Lucky Dip for the kids (young and old). They are also a good way for us to engage with our community. Click here for more images.
