Coffee and Crafts events have long been a part of our club's fundraising programme.  Each year, we hold two of these events.  The first is normally on the first Saturday in May, when the town is busy with visitors here for the Bank Holiday weekend.  The other is held at the beginning of December and plays an important part of the town's Christmas programme.  Generally, the May event will raise over £900, while the Christmas one raises around £1,300.  As the name suggests, in addition to enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and some delightful home-baked cakes, visitors can browse the many craft stalls present.
